Welcome to Bath School of Dance

Established in 1972, Bath School of Dance offers inspiring classes in classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, and more. Based in Combe Down (Bath) and Bradford-on-Avon, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, inclusive environment for dancers of all ages and abilities.

 

We take a holistic approach to dance. Our timetable of non-syllabus classes for children and adults and workshop sessions in diverse dance styles complements Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet training, supporting each dancer’s physical well-being, creativity, and personal growth.

Beyond weekly classes, our BSD Performance Company offers auditioned dancers the chance to perform at high-profile events and gain real-world industry experience.

We believe dance should be accessible to everyone. Our Dancer Support crowdfund helps students on a low income continue their training. Donations are always appreciated, and those wishing to access support are warmly encouraged to contact us for an informal conversation.
