RAD Intermediate Ballet
For those with several years of ballet training who are looking to learn a set syllabus, either for personal progression or to work towards an exam (which can be taken at any age!) The Royal Academy of Dance's Intermediate syllabus is the second of their vocational grade syllabi designed to provide an in-depth study of ballet and prepare students for a career in dance. Our online Bitesize classes will focus on the Intermediate set barre work.
Adult Beginner Ballet Technique
For absolute beginners to ballet or those who would like a recap of the foundations of classical ballet technique after a long break from ballet training. Focusing on posture and the fundamental principles of ballet movements, using the barre (or your kitchen worktop!)
A general level ballet barre class for all levels, to help you clear and focus your mind at the end of the working day. Some basic knowledge of ballet technique is required.
Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT)
PBT is a revolutionary programme that uses fit balls and resistance bands to help train muscle memory (think Pilates using a fit ball). This class will also conclude with some stretching for flexibility. Find out more on the PBT website.
Private one to one online classes for children and adults are available by Zoom at a cost of £15 per 30-minute session. These are ideal for beginners to ballet or those with specific aims such as improving knowledge of an RAD syllabus or developing muscle strength and fitness through PBT exercises.
